RUBBER MOLDING- PRODUCTION- DEPUTY MANAGER- MANESAR LOCATION
Responsibilities
- Conducts daily internal meeting with the production team to review the progress on targets and analyzing any production/quality related issues/concerns
- Attends daily meetings with the operation head to present and discuss findings, targets and action plan
- Monitors production activities on the shop floor
- Reviews & finalizes daily production plan prepared by PPC team
- Assigns responsibilities to the team wrt to day-to-day activities and guides them in case of any queries and concerns
- Reviews process parameters and guides process improvement initiatives to increase productivity
- Plans and communicates with Maintenance department for preventative maintenance of machinery to ensure uninterrupted production operations
- Reviews manpower planning of contract workers for smooth operations
- Prioritizes the production/process activities wrt to customer requirements
- Coordinates and prioritizes tasks with outsourced vendors for finishing of produced goods
- Coordinates and follow up with Purchase & Stores for raw material and compound availability in time as per production plan and ensures that material is in house one day before actual production schedule
- Monitors the inventory of finished goods and scheduling of raw material.
Qualifications
Diploma/ B. Tech.- Mechanical/ Polymer/ any relevant qualification.
At least 10 years of experience in Rubber Molding- Automobile industry is must (NOT TIRE INDUSTRY).
