Responsibilities of an RN Clinical Manager:
-
Work in conjunction with the center’s DON to provide direction, coordination and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents and patients in a long-term care and skilled nursing / sub-acute care nursing center (all units).

Plan, coordinate and manage nursing care, services and staff, ensure quality care is achieved and regulatory compliance is maintained.

Key responsibilities include managing patient assignments and case loads, providing clinical guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and organizational skills, and extensive clinical experience.
Qualifications for an RN Clinical Manager:

Associate degree in Nursing (ASN) or above required
-
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required.

Two (2+) or more years of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing / sub-acute care setting required.

Prior nursing leadership experience LTC / SNF preferred.

Must be proficient in the use of a Personal Computer and possess ability to navigate Windows and Microsoft Office programs, Internet-based Applications, and EMR Software.
