The Production Team Lead is responsible for supporting daily operations within the acrylic manufacturing department by coordinating workflow, guiding production staff, and ensuring quality standards and production goals are met. This position acts as a key liaison between frontline production workers and supervisory management, implementing the direction of the Production Supervisor and Operations Manager. The Team Lead assists in assigning tasks, monitoring progress, addressing basic operational issues, and promoting a safe and organized work environment. Although not a formal supervisory role, this position serves as a mentor to production staff and plays a critical part in sustaining efficiency and team cohesion.
Primary Duties
- Support plant operations by consistently meeting production goals without compromising on quality.
- Monitor workflow and personnel throughout the day to ensure daily production schedules are met.
- Reinforce and implement direction from the Production Supervisor and Operations Manager.
- Assign tasks and actively participate in hands-on production work.
- Move materials and products between workstations, receiving, and other designated areas as needed.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and report any equipment issues promptly.
- Assist in training and mentoring production staff to promote skill development and safety awareness.
- Maintain open and effective communication with team members and leadership.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in product inspections to verify quality before items leave the production area.
- Perform light facility maintenance as assigned.

- Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

- Strong time management and adaptability under pressure.
Education/Experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Prefer previous team leadership experience or roles of increased responsibility.
