Senior Application Support

Royal Distributing is looking for a proactive and tech-savvy Senior Application Support Technician to assist with the daily operations of our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. This role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our business processes through efficient use of our IT infrastructure. A support ticketing system will be a major piece of this role's daily efforts and the candidate will need to become an expert in our business processes to properly tackle issues. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Microsoft SQL, C#.NET, Excel, and a keen interest in developing their technical troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities - System Support: Respond to daily support requests regarding our WMS and ERP systems. Use the ticketing system effectively to track and resolve issues, ensuring all support activities are logged and monitored. - Microsoft SQL Server backend database support for WMS system. - C#.NET Application Development for a handful of very small custom developed tools that integrate with ERP/WMS. - Data Management: Perform regular data imports and exports as required by the business teams. Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all transactions and reports. - Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues related to the WMS and ERP systems. Work collaboratively with the IT team to implement long-term fixes. - Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions to assist with future troubleshooting efforts. Update system documentation and help guides as needed. - User Assistance and Training: Assist in training users on new systems and updates. Provide clear and effective guidance to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems. - Additional duties as assigned.
