This position will be working onsite from Miami. 

 

Position Summary: 

The Account Executive of Onboard Communications is responsible for managing execution of guest facing onboard communications for select operational areas across the organization. This team member launches and manages communications, collaborates with departmental peers, and ensures all needs are successfully met. The Account Executive will support and sustain a partnership with segments of operations and will be responsible for strategic and tactical branding initiatives designed to achieve guest satisfaction targets. This position will also support internal partners in developing and executing best in class onboard communications and driving joint marketing activities. This position will support the global strategy for all onboard communication channels. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains a partnership with operations, shipboard and brand teams to ensure that all entities are informed and aligned with the branding and communications strategies. 

  • Implements initiatives and strategies through all integrated onboard communications channels to inform and engage guest awareness of need-to-know information, existing or new onboard offerings or experiences.  

  • Supports onboard communication channel strategies developed to execute operations and strategic partnership initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to developing brand creative, consumer-facing communications: copy, POS signage, digital assets, talk tracks for shipboard teams, SOPs, etc. 

  • Day-to-day contact with internal operational partners. 

  • Monitors brand surveys, chat sites, blogs and trend research to recommend areas of improvement and suggest where Royal Caribbean can realize a competitive advantage in the vacation industry.  

  • Responsible for supervising creative development and production by Launch or any external vendors hired to develop content for areas of support.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university.  

  • Experience in supporting business partnerships, vendors, marketing alliances, internal and/or cross functional teams.  

  • Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. 

  • Must be well-organized. 

  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people. 

  • Working effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines. 

  • Must be able to manage pressure well. 

  • Deep understanding of brand strategy. 

  • Ability to provide solutions under time constraints. 

  • Ability to collaborate with operational partners and other channels to help them achieve their objectives. 

  • Occasional travel required.
