About the role

As the Senior Cyber Security Analyst- Authentication Services, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting Authentication Services within RBC. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology and cybersecurity with experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and direct knowledge and experience with the configuration and deployment of large-scale enterprise solutions including infrastructure, application, and vendor support services. What will you do? Participate in the deployment of authentication application services, such as single sign-on and multi-factor authentication and associated IAM policies and processes, following internal hand-off from the Engineering team for installation, system configuration, and testing. Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on IAM products, tools, and architecture. Provide L2 production support for application, infrastructure, and other related services by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving issues raised through incidents, service requests, or other applicable channels. Handle escalations where necessary and manage both internal and external resource expectations. Interface with vendor support processes and contacts when additional technical support is required. Document internal application support procedures for improved service delivery and resiliency Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and infrastructure SMEs to ensure that all aspects of the IAM solution architecture are defined and elaborated. Build and maintain test and production environments including but not limited to ensuring RBC required patching is maintained, ensuring technology currency on applications including testing, hotfixes and service packs, and support application integrations Support all implementations for testing and production environments by communicating upcoming changes to impacted technology partners and identifying the requirement for post-production application regression testing. Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, and stakeholders, and interface with groups using a variety of techniques What do you need to succeed? Must-haves Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience 5+ years of Technical System Analyst experience with strong knowledge in the installation, configuration, and support of highly scalable and complex systems including web servers, proxy, application programming interfaces, load-balancing, firewall, UNIX, LDAP, TLS certificates, etc. Knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols and technologies (SSO, OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, MFA) Understanding and Cybersecurity best practices and principles such as confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and systems Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities Quick learner with the ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge Nice to have Industry-related certification – CISSP Agile development practices experience Knowledge of financial services business line(s) and associated applications and processes IT standards, methodologies, and audit requirements
