Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Roto, Video Editor, Comp, 3D Artist – Offline [Goa Only]. The role involves performing roto and compositing tasks, editing offline video content, and contributing to 3D elements and visual effects as required by each project. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling raw footage, organizing timelines, applying color adjustments, integrating motion graphics, and ensuring visual continuity across scenes. The artist will collaborate with directors, producers, and sound designers to refine the narrative flow, maintain brand and style consistency, and meet delivery deadlines. The role also includes troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining organized project files, and continuously improving workflows to enhance overall production quality.
Qualifications
- Ability to handle Video Production tasks, including planning, organizing footage, and supporting the offline edit process.
- Strong Video Editing skills with experience in assembling sequences, refining cuts, and syncing audio and visuals.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to balance, match, and stylize footage to achieve the desired look.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create and integrate titles, lower thirds, and visual elements into video content.
- Experience with roto, compositing, and 3D workflows in industry-standard software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar).
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, frame rates, and offline/online post-production processes.
- Attention to detail, strong visual storytelling sense, and ability to interpret creative briefs accurately.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Relevant education or training in film, animation, design, media, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in a post-production or creative studio environment is a plus, especially in high-volume or fast-turnaround projects.
