Talent Acquisition Specialist (Remote)

Position Summary
Rothe is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to support full-cycle recruiting efforts across a diverse portfolio of positions. This role is critical in identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support mission-driven programs in a fast-paced, compliance-focused environment.
This is a remote position; however, candidates must be able to effectively collaborate across teams and time zones as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for technical and/or government contracting roles, with a strong understanding of sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles, including technical, professional, and administrative positions
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and workforce planning priorities
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job boards, networking, referrals, and direct sourcing tools
- Create and utilize Boolean search strings to identify and engage passive candidates
- Screen and evaluate candidates to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for candidates and hiring teams
- Maintain accurate and compliant records within the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Handle sensitive candidate and company information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws
- Support recruitment reporting, metrics tracking, and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Assist with employer branding efforts and recruitment marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruiting
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting required
- Bachelor’s degree, OR 6 years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience supporting government contracting, aerospace/defense, or other highly regulated industries preferred
- Strong sourcing skills, including experience with platforms such as Indeed strongly preferred
- Proven experience writing and using Boolean search strings for candidate sourcing
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Paycor or similar systems) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting candidates requiring security clearances or working in sensitive environments
- Experience working in or supporting union environments
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies in recruiting (e.g., sourcing, screening, or process automation)
- Professional certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus

Salary Range
$60-$80K - commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications
