Director of Operations (Law Firm)

<div class="trix-content"> <div>Rothbard Law Group is seeking a <strong>Director of Operations</strong> to oversee daily operations and staff leadership for a growing law firm. This role manages department heads and approximately 30 legal support staff while ensuring productivity, accountability, and a positive workplace culture.<br><br> </div><div>This position reports directly to firm partners and works closely with HR and the Billing Director.<br><br> </div><div>Key Responsibilities<br><br> </div><ul> <li>Manage department heads across Case Prep, Default, Trial Prep, and Reception<br><br> </li> <li>Oversee workflow, production, and staff performance<br><br> </li> <li>Lead hiring, training, and cross-training of legal support staff<br><br> </li> <li>Conduct daily and weekly staff and leadership check-ins<br><br> </li> <li>Approve timecards and overtime requests<br><br> </li> <li>Support staff morale, engagement, and retention<br><br> </li> <li>Handle client escalations as needed<br><br> </li> <li>Partner with HR and Billing on operational alignment<br><br> </li> </ul><div>Qualifications</div><div><br></div><ul> <li>Proven experience managing managers and large teams<br><br> </li> <li>Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills<br><br> </li> <li>Law firm experience preferred but not required<br><br> </li> </ul><div>What We Offer<br><br> </div><ul> <li>Senior leadership role with direct impact<br><br> </li> <li>Competitive compensation based on experience<br><br> </li> </ul> </div>
