Development Coordinator (Part-Time)
The Development Coordinator supports Rose City Rollers’ fundraising efforts through donor stewardship, annual appeals, grant support, fundraising campaigns, and development administration. This role plays a key part in executing fundraising campaigns, strengthening donor relationships, and helping grow contributed revenue while supporting fundraising integration into bouts, broadcasts, and community events.
This role works closely with the Marketing & Development Manager and collaborates closely with the Sponsorship Coordinator, with both positions supporting one another during seasonal workload shifts and major events.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Support donor stewardship, acknowledgements, and fundraising communications.
- Coordinate annual appeals, fundraising campaigns, and donor engagement efforts.
- Manage grant tracking calendars, reporting timelines, and application support.
- Support fundraising integration into bouts, community events, and league activities.
- Help develop and execute fundraising and donor engagement strategies in collaboration with the Marketing & Development Manager.
- Maintain organized donor, grant, and fundraising records.
- Utilize ClickUp and other RCR systems to manage timelines, workflows, and development tasks.
- Coordinate with staff and volunteers to support fundraising initiatives.
- Assist with development-related administrative tasks and reporting.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of development, sponsorship, nonprofit, or related experience preferred
- Experience working with diverse employees, members, volunteers, donors, and community partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using database and workplace systems, including Microsoft 365 & SharePoint, Neon One, Slack, and ClickUp
- Able and willing to work remotely using personal equipment (computer, phone, etc.)
- Reliable transportation to the venue and other off-site locations as needed
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently
- Detail-oriented with a collaborative, team-focused mindset
- Passion for community-driven initiatives, nonprofit work, sports, and/or inclusive recreation environments
Work Schedule
This role is designed to be approximately 20 hrs./wk. part-time, non-exempt. Some evening and weekend work is required around events and bouts. Outside of events and meetings, most work may be completed remotely.
Compensation
$24.48/hr. Benefits include paid vacation, sick time, a flexible schedule, a monthly tech stipend, a skating membership, and participation in Oregon Saves Retirement.
