Roots Innovation Labs is looking for a Machine Learning/Data Scientist with a passion for research and a knack for analysis, math, and statistics.
Responsibilities
Study and transform data science prototypes.
Design machine learning systems.
Research and implement appropriate ML/NLP/Gen AI algorithms, Models and tools.
Develop machine learning applications according to requirements.
Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
Run machine learning tests and experiments.
Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results.
Train and retrain systems when necessary.
Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks.
Keep abreast of developments in the field.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree.
0 to 4 years of experience in ML/Data Science.
Proven experience as a ML/NLP or similar role.
Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software
architecture.
Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
Ability to write robust code in Python.
Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch or
TensorFlow) and libraries.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
Hands on experience working with Large Language Models and
associated tools/processes – Prompt Engineering, RAG, Vector Data
Bases, Langchain, LORA, Finetuning pipelines etc.
