About the role

As the Strategic Finance & Corporate Development Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and strategic initiatives of Roofstock. In this position, you will work closely with the Executive Leadership team and cross-functional partners to analyze and support key strategic decisions, identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities, and drive special projects that enable Roofstock to achieve its ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities: - Support the Strategic Finance team in building financial models, analyzing business performance, and developing key insights to inform strategic decision making - Lead the financial and operational analysis of potential M&A targets, supporting the deal execution process - Drive special projects that span multiple functional areas, partnering with various stakeholders to define objectives, develop project plans, and deliver results - Effectively communicate complex financial and strategic analyses to executive leadership and cross-functional partners - Continuously seek to enhance processes, identify new opportunities, and provide recommendations to drive growth and operational efficiency Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - 3-5 years of relevant experience in a strategic finance, corporate development, or investment banking role - Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data into actionable insights - Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with leadership teams - Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a passion for problem-solving and driving results - Experience in the real estate, technology, or financial services industry a plus
