<strong>Position Overview<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Chocolatier to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality caramel apples and handcrafted confectionery items, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working with food, takes pride in presentation, and thrives in a fast-paced retail setting.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>

<strong>Confectionery Production<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Prepare and dip caramel apples to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory standards </li>
<li> Produce in-store confections including fudge, chocolates, and other specialty items </li>
<li> Follow recipes, portioning, and food safety guidelines </li>
<li> Maintain consistency, quality, and visual appeal of all products </li>

<strong>Customer Service<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner </li>
<li> Provide product recommendations and samples when appropriate </li>
<li> Accurately process transactions using the POS system </li>
<li> Handle customer questions and resolve concerns promptly </li>

<strong>Cash Handling & Store Operations<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Open and close the cash register, including counting tills and balancing drawers </li>
<li> Follow proper cash handling procedures and loss prevention policies </li>
<li> Assist with inventory, stocking, and product rotation </li>

<strong>Cleaning & Maintenance<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment at all times </li>
<li> Clean equipment, prep areas, display cases, and customer-facing spaces </li>
<li> Follow all health and safety regulations </li>

<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li> Previous food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred </li>
<li> Ability to follow recipes and work with attention to detail </li>
<li> Comfortable handling food products and working with hands </li>
<li> Strong communication and teamwork skills </li>
<li> Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts (including weekends and holidays) </li>
