Rockstar Games is looking for a C++ developer to join our Core Security team. The successful candidate will be committed to keeping our games fun for our players by defending against cheaters and hackers. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar's NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan. WHAT WE DO The Core Security team is responsible for protecting our players, the in-game-experience, and intellectual property. We support all Rockstar titles including Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption. We work closely with many teams to enhance the security of our games. RESPONSIBILITIES Understand, develop, and apply various forms of anti-tamper technologies, anti-cheat technologies, and/or DRM. Follow SDLC to integrate into the game team's operations. Communicate non-routine code issues. Debug and diagnose unfamiliar code. Test cross-platform software solutions to ensure quality. QUALIFICATIONS Knowledge of C/C++ programming language. Experience on a software development team. SKILLS Proven ability to work with and diagnose unfamiliar code. Ability to accurately and descriptively write bug reports, including reproduction steps. Effective communication skills, research skills, and strong attention to detail.
