Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site STEM Trainer (Robotics, AI & Drone Technology) role based in Siliguri.
The STEM Trainer will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging, hands-on training sessions in Robotics, Drone Technology, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Embedded Systems, Electronics, and Coding for students across different age groups. The role includes developing training content, conducting practical workshops, mentoring students on real-world projects, and supporting innovation-focused learning initiatives.
The trainer will assemble, configure, and program robotics and embedded systems using platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and related technologies. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, ensuring safe workshop practices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and collaborating with the engineering team on R&D, product prototyping, and educational projects.
The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, enjoys teaching, and is committed to creating interactive learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, MCA, or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Robotics, Electronics, Embedded Systems, Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, Sensors, and IoT.
- Basic understanding of Drone Technology, AI/ML concepts, and Computer Vision is an advantage.
- Experience with C/C++, Python, or other programming languages used in embedded systems and robotics.
- Ability to conduct STEM workshops, robotics competitions, innovation programs, and technical demonstrations.
- Experience developing STEM curriculum, training modules, or educational content is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for robotics and embedded hardware.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring, and inspiring students through hands-on learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team while managing multiple training programs and engineering projects.
