Role Description The Robotics Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based in Madurai. This role involves conducting interactive robotics and AI-focused classes for school students, demonstrating concepts through practical activities, and guiding learners in assembling, programming, and operating educational robots. The trainer will maintain and set up robotics lab equipment, ensure safe and effective use of tools, and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues during sessions. Responsibilities also include preparing lesson plans aligned with the STEM curriculum, assisting in developing training materials for teachers, and collaborating with school staff to organize workshops, competitions, and project showcases. The Robotics Trainer will regularly monitor student progress, provide feedback, and contribute ideas to improve the learning experience.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in robotics concepts, including practical experience working with robots and related systems (Robotics, Robot).
- Hands-on skills in robotic welding or similar industrial applications, with the ability to explain these processes in an age-appropriate, educational context (Robotic Welding).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and support preventive maintenance of robotics lab equipment (Troubleshooting, Preventive Maintenance).
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or training learners in STEM topics, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
- Clear communication skills, patience, and the ability to engage children of different age groups in a supportive, inclusive manner.
- Comfort with basic programming logic and educational robotics platforms; familiarity with AI or coding tools is an added advantage.
- Organizational skills to plan sessions, manage classroom activities, and maintain equipment and learning materials effectively.
