As a Robotics Software Developer, you will focus on designing, developing, and integrating robotic solutions. What You’ll Do
Tech You Will Perform
- Implement robotics algorithms and concepts using modern C++.
- Develop solutions for robot kinematics, path planning, motion planning and collision avoidance.
- Translate research prototypes and technical concepts into reliable, production-ready software.
- Integrate industrial robots, welding power sources, sensors and other automation hardware.
- Develop and improve robot programs, motion sequences and welding workflows.
- Analyse system performance, troubleshoot complex issues and optimise execution.
- Collaborate with robotics researchers and software engineers to define implementation approaches.
- Write modular, maintainable and well-tested code.
Who You Are
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of robotic systems, mechanisms, motion, and coordinate transformations.
- Good software development skills in C++, including object-oriented programming and data structures.
- Familiarity with robot kinematics, path planning, trajectory generation or motion control.
- Experience working with industrial robots, automation systems or robotic applications.
- Experience converting algorithms or prototypes into working software solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working across robotics, mechanical systems and software engineering.
