IntoRobotiks is an independent newsletter covering the most important developments in robotics, embodied AI, and physical computing. We write for a readership that takes the field seriously, including builders, engineers, investors, and researchers across the global robotics ecosystem.
We are looking for a Robotics Researcher to help us source, verify, and shape the stories we publish each week.
What you'll do:
- Track the global robotics landscape across funding rounds, product launches, research papers, partnerships, and policy shifts
- Identify stories that genuinely matter and separate signal from press release noise
- Build context around each piece of news, including company background, competitive positioning, and underlying technical claims
- Verify facts across multiple sources before content goes into the editorial pipeline
- Collaborate with the editorial team to shape angles and surface the most useful framing for readers
What we're looking for:
- A genuine interest in robotics, embodied AI, or related fields, with the ability to read technical content without losing the bigger picture
- Strong research instincts and the discipline to cross-check claims rather than rely on a single source
- Clear written communication, including the ability to summarize complex topics without flattening them
- Bonus: background in engineering, computer science, robotics, AI/ML, or experience working at a robotics company or research lab
Proof of work (required):
Send us a 200 to 400 word writeup on a robotics story from the past 30 days that you think most publications got wrong, missed entirely, or underexplained. We want to see how you read the field, not how well you can rewrite a press release. Bullet points are fine. Original framing matters more than polish.
