Role Description The Robotics Mentor is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur. This role involves delivering structured Robotics and STEM lessons, guiding learners through hands-on projects, and supporting foundation, professional, and institutional programs. The mentor will design and refine lesson plans, prepare lab activities, and supervise students in using robotics kits, sensors, controllers, and basic programming tools. Responsibilities include conducting trainings for students and educators, providing one-on-one and group mentoring, and helping set up and maintain robotics and AI lab equipment. The mentor will collaborate with the team to align curriculum with industry trends, assist in small-scale research or prototyping activities, and contribute to workshops, events, and outreach initiatives.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Robotics and practical experience working with robotics kits, hardware components, and basic control systems.
- Candidates should possess Programming skills relevant to robotics (such as Python, C/C++, or block-based coding) and be comfortable teaching fundamental coding concepts.
- Candidates should possess STEM-related competencies, including a solid understanding of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics principles applied to real-world projects.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including the ability to explain technical topics clearly to learners of different ages and backgrounds.
- Candidates should possess Training and mentoring capabilities, with experience facilitating workshops, guiding project-based learning, and supporting skill development.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related STEM field are beneficial.
- Experience working in educational environments, labs, or maker spaces, and familiarity with educational robotics platforms (e.g., Arduino, Raspberry Pi, LEGO, or similar) is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Jodhpur, manage classroom and lab safety, collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to evolving curriculum and technologies is required.
