Role OverviewWe are looking for a hands-on Robotics Engineer to design and build next-generation robotic systems powered by Physical AI.
You will work across the full stack: from perception and planning to high-level decision-making leveraging platforms like NVIDIA Isaac ROS and foundational model frameworks such as NVIDIA Groot.
This role sits at the intersection of:
- Robotics
- Edge AI
- Agentic AI / Physical AI
Key Responsibilities- Build and deploy robotics applications using Isaac ROS and ROS2 ecosystem
- Design perception pipelines (vision, depth, sensor fusion) for real-world environments
- Develop decision-making and control systems for autonomous robots
- Research, develop, and test LLMs, SLMs, and agent-based systems for high-level decision-making in humanoid robots
- Work with NVIDIA Groot to leverage foundational models for robotics reasoning and control
- Work on human-robot interaction (HRI) and collaborative robotics systems
- Integrate AI/ML models into robotic pipelines (PyTorch / ONNX / TensorRT)
- Optimize pipelines for edge deployment (Jetson / embedded platforms)
- Contribute to CraftifAI’s Physical AI stack and agentic robotics workflows
- Prototype rapidly and deploy on real hardware systems
Required Skills- Strong experience with ROS / ROS2
- Hands-on with NVIDIA Isaac ROS
- Exposure to LLMs / SLMs / agent frameworks applied to robotics or decision systems
- Solid understanding of robotics fundamentals:
- Localization & Mapping (SLAM)
- Path planning
- Sensor fusion
- Experience with C++ and Python
- Experience deploying on NVIDIA Jetson or edge devices
- Understanding of real-world robotics constraints (latency, reliability, safety)
Good to Have- Experience with humanoid or collaborative robots
- Exposure to NVIDIA Groot or similar robotics foundation model systems
- Experience with simulation environments (Isaac Sim / Gazebo)
- Knowledge of reinforcement learning or imitation learning
- Experience with Physical AI / embodied AI systems
- Contributions to open-source robotics projects
