About the Role:
Milieu Global IT Solutions is developing intelligent robotic solutions across AI, Robotics, Mechatronics, and Automation. We are looking for a Robotics Engineer who can take ownership of robotics projects from design to deployment and support. If you're passionate about building real-world robotic systems and solving engineering challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and deploy robotic systems from concept to production.
Own the complete robotics development lifecycle, including hardware integration, software development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Develop robotic applications using ROS/ROS 2, C++, and Python.
Implement SLAM, localization, mapping, path planning, and autonomous navigation.
Integrate and calibrate LiDAR, Cameras, IMUs, GPS, and other sensors.
Develop perception and control pipelines for autonomous robots.
Collaborate with software, electronics, and mechanical engineering teams.
Debug hardware and software issues in lab and field environments.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Support product validation, improvements, and customer deployments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in robotics, mechatronics, computer science, electrical, or mechanical engineering or a related field.
3–5 years of hands-on experience with real-world robotic systems.
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
Strong expertise in ROS/ROS 2.
Good knowledge of:
SLAM
Sensor Fusion
Autonomous Navigation
Nav2
Cartographer
GTSAM (or similar frameworks)
Experience integrating LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, and robotic sensors.
Good understanding of Linux, Git, embedded systems, and real-time software.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with UGVs, Drones, Industrial, Agricultural, Mining, or Defense Robotics.
Knowledge of PCL, Open3D, 3D Reconstruction, or Photogrammetry.
Experience with Machine Learning for robotic perception.
Familiarity with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or similar simulation platforms.
Exposure to industrial robotic deployments is a plus.
