About The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee our tablet manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that production operations run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing practices, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily production activities, maintaining quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Prior experience of 3-5 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing, particularly in tablet production, is preferred. Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols is essential. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to effectively manage teams and troubleshoot operational issues. Familiarity with manufacturing equipment, process validation, and documentation procedures will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily tablet manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met within quality and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, safety regulations, and company policies throughout all manufacturing activities.
- Monitor and control production processes, including raw material handling, equipment operation, and product packaging.
- Lead, train, and develop production team members to enhance their skills and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
- Conduct regular quality checks and oversee in-process testing to ensure product consistency and compliance.
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, deviations, and corrective actions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless production workflows.
- Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve production issues promptly.
- Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting pharmaceutical manufacturing.
