We’re building TerraBots, a modular all-terrain autonomous rover platform designed to be used across sectors with different payloads and applications. The platform is focused on rugged mobility, vision-based AI navigation, autonomous operation, and real-world deployment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to own the product, not just complete assigned tasks. We are looking for someone who is curious, fast at learning, comfortable with failures, and willing to debug deeply, brainstorm, and think out of the box when things do not work as expected.
What you’ll work on:
- Develop and deploy robotics software using ROS 2
- Work on vision-based navigation, SLAM, localization, path planning, and autonomous movement
- Build and validate robotic systems in Gazebo / Isaac Sim
- Integrate sensors such as cameras, LiDAR, IMUs, encoders, and depth cameras
- Debug robot behavior in both simulation and real-world testing
- Work closely with hardware, embedded, and automation systems
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on experience with ROS 2
- Experience with Gazebo / Isaac Sim or similar simulation tools
- Understanding of SLAM, mapping, localization, and autonomous navigation
- Programming experience in Python and/or C++
- Ability to debug real robotic systems, not just run demo packages
- Interest in building products from the ground up
Preferred skills:
- Nav2, RViz, URDF/Xacro, MoveIt
- Computer vision / AI-based navigation exposure
- Mobile robots, AMRs, rovers, or autonomous vehicle experience
- Sensor fusion and robot control systems
- Real-world robot deployment or field testing experience
