Role Summary:
We are seeking Robotics / Autonomous Systems Engineer with hands-on experience in autonomous vehicle systems. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and optimizing intelligent robotics solutions with a strong focus on smart routing, path optimisation, battery monitoring, and smart operations.
The engineer will collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams to deliver scalable, safe, and efficient autonomous solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Autonomous Systems & Software Development
- Design, develop, and maintain autonomous vehicle software
- Implement localization, path planning, motion control, and decision-making algorithms
- Develop smart routing and path optimisation logic to improve operational efficiency
- Work with ROS / ROS2, C++, and Python
Battery Monitoring & Smart Operations
- Implement battery health monitoring and power optimisation strategies
- Support energy-aware planning and system performance tracking
- Analyze operational data to enhance system reliability and efficiency
- Contribute to smart operations and continuous improvement initiatives
Mechanical & System Integration
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams for platform integration
- Ensure autonomy behavior aligns with mechanical and physical constraints
- Support integration of sensors, actuators, and embedded systems
Testing & Deployment
- Support simulation, SIL/HIL testing, and real-world testing
- Analyze logs and performance data for issue resolution
- Assist with deployment, commissioning, and operational support
Collaboration & Documentation
- Work with cross-functional teams across locations
- Participate in design reviews and system architecture discussions
- Prepare clear technical documentation and reports
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Technical Skills
- Experience in autonomous vehicles or robotic systems
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Hands-on experience with ROS / ROS2
- Understanding of:
- Localization and motion planning
- Path optimisation and control systems
- Sensor integration and real-time systems
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments
- Experience with battery monitoring or energy management is an advantage
