Role Description
This is a part-time remote role for a Robot Framework Python Testing Engineer, The role involves designing, developing, and executing test cases using Robot Framework and Python to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing and maintaining test scripts, performing functional testing, identifying and documenting bugs, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. The role also requires regular participation in test planning and reporting activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet business requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience in Test Engineering, including test planning and test strategy development
- Proficiency in Test Execution and reporting tools
- Knowledge of writing and managing detailed Test Cases for various test scenarios
- Hands-on experience in Testing, including Functional Testing to ensure software quality
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in Python and Robot Framework
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Prior experience in automation testing or QA roles is preferred
