About the role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Senior Data Analyst to take ownership of multiple designated client accounts. The role involves applying analytics and visualization techniques to drive better business decision-making while independently managing client interactions and expectations.
Responsibilities
Understand client brief and translate it into tasks and analysis steps. Deliver insights and results back to the client independently.
Design solutions to integrate with various downstream and upstream systems/applications.
Provide business analytics (statistical analysis as part of the output) to the client as a part of decision-making.
Evaluate and select the tools and components necessary for optimal data management (data acquisition, data storage, data quality, data governance, data visualization).
Handle client data, generally large datasets. Load, analyze the data, and generate analytical outputs as per the requirements.
Deliver projects, assignments, and client requests on time and with high accuracy.
Implement data architecture solutions with deep expertise in databases, data modeling, data architecture, and deployment.
Requirements
Education – Graduation in BE / B.Tech; M.Sc. / M.Tech.
Specialization/Certification – In visualization tools.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in SQL, Python, Power BI/Tableau, Google Analytics.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and associated microservices.
Experience working on Data Visualization Projects, developing Power BI/Tableau dashboards, and deploying them in production environments.
Advanced modelling, strategic planning, and data architecture understanding.
Identifying data sources (internal & external) and aligning them with organizational data strategy.
Expertise in MS Excel, database management systems, EDA, ETL tools, data models, and production environments.
Ability to provide meaningful and actionable insights for marketers.
Strong understanding and experience working with multiple data sources (Transaction data, Customer Profile Data).
Soft Skills & Domain Knowledge
Strong written communication – Can write clearly and succinctly in various communication settings and styles. Can get messages across with the desired effect.
Data handling – High level of comfort with receiving, loading, cleansing, enriching, and enhancing transactional data sources.
Business Knowledge – Good understanding of the business environment in India (Retail, BFSI, Travel, Entertainment) is preferable.
Team Leadership – Ability to lead and mentor a team of data analysts.
Customer Focus – Dedicated to meeting the expectations of internal and external clients.
