Key Responsibilities :
- Design Robot welding fixtures for medium and large components
- Prepare 2D & 3D CAD models ( preferably in solid works / Creo / SolidEdge).
- Coordinate with fabrication, machining and welding teams for fixture manufacturing.
- Ensure fixture suitability for robotic welding ( ergonomics, clamping, accessibility, rigidity ).
- Provide design improvements for cycle time reduction and weld quality improvement.
- Support installation, trail and approval of fixtures on the shop floor.
Job Specification:
- Minimum 2 - 5 years experience in welding fixture design.
- Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, GD&T, and robot welding requirements.
- Understanding of rotary positioners, tilting fixtures and large jig structures.
- Ability to read part drawings and prepare BOM.
Qualification:
- BE Mechanical Engineering / DME
- Immediate Joiner Preffered
