Description
This position will be primarily in-office and located in Warner Robins, GA.
What You’ll Do:
- Monitor security alerts, logs, and system activity to identify and report unusual behavior or potential threats.
- Assist with vulnerability scans, help document findings, and follow up on patching and remediation efforts.
- Provide basic support for security tools including antivirus, endpoint protection, content filtering, and log management systems.
- Help manage and maintain user access permissions, including onboarding/offboarding and periodic access reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, security procedures, and audit checklists.
- Assist in gathering and organizing materials for audits, including ACET reporting and compliance reviews.
- Track completion of daily security checklists and log routine reviews of core systems and tools.
- Help update asset inventories and ensure devices meet security and patch compliance standards.
- Participate in internal IT meetings and cross-training opportunities to learn security protocols and procedures.
- Assist with email filtering, spam monitoring, and other user-facing security inquiries or support needs.
- Comply with all applicable policies, procedures, laws and regulations including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.

What You Need To Succeed:
Job Education & Experience Required:
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field required. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a technical role with exposure to system or security operations.
Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Basic understanding of Windows environments, networking fundamentals, and information security principles.
- Familiarity with security tools such as antivirus software, firewalls, SIEM, or vulnerability scanning tools is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft products (Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Windows OS, Azure)
