Summary: Responsible for executing sanitation tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. This includes but, is not limited to, cleaning stationary tanks, portable tanks/totes, pots, hoses, pumps, valves, and manufacturing utensils.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensure production equipment is cleaned and sanitized in accordance with SOPs.
• Multi-task cleaning/sanitation jobs as needed.
• Follow all personal and product safety procedures compliant with Robertet standards.
• Possess and apply working knowledge of pumps, mixers, scales, and fork trucks.
• Log and record all sanitation information in Batch Metrics and/or via manual documented records.
• Adhere to schedules provided by supervision with respect to training, scheduled cleaning, and routine inspections.
• Actively participate in Food Safety Quality Observation Program.
• Comply with good manufacturing practices and Robertet SOP’s ensuring compliance to SQF and regulatory standards.
Position Requirements
Required:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year(s) forklift experience.
• 1+ year(s) of food manufacturing experience or relative industry.
Position Competencies:
• Ability to frequently communicate with co-workers of varying expertise in a professional demeanor and exchange information accurately.
• Ability to perform fundamental math skills (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), and the ability to do conversions (lbs. to kgs and lbs. to gals).
• Demonstrate ability to read documents written in Standard English text (e.g., administrative policy manuals, manufacturing instructions, etc.).
Communicate effectively in writing as well as verbally to multiple functional areas.
