About the role

This role is hybrid remote with 60% monthly in-office presence in Mount Prospect, Illinois. (3 days in office per week)Dremel is looking for an experienced UX/User Researcher to join our Product Development team, supporting our commitment to becoming a user-centered brand. In this role, you will lead the design, execution, and synthesis of user research that drives innovation in product and brand marketing. You will work cross-functionally, coordinating with external research partners, product teams and UX coaches to deliver actionable insights that guide the creation of user-centered solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to impact product strategy and champion a user-centered design approach within Dremel. Responsibilities:* Design, plan, and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research using diverse methodologies, such as field studies, lab testing, remote testing, and surveys.* Coordinate with market research agencies, overseeing partnerships to ensure timely, high-quality insights into user needs and market trends.* Oversee syndicated research subscriptions to ensure continuous access to critical insights that inform product and brand strategy.* Develop and implement rigorous, unbiased research methodologies for user interviews, applying user-centered design and Design Thinking principles.* Identify and deploy digital platforms and tool kits to streamline research processes, maximizing efficiency in data synthesis and insight generation.* Work closely with product, UX and design teams to integrate research findings into product strategies, design solutions, and technical requirements.* Partner with UX coaches to consolidate user research and trend analysis into actionable insights, driving product development, innovation, and customer-focused solutions.
