About the role
During your internship, you will work on a research project at the intersection of computer science and process engineering. Your subject is an electrochemical process in which short circuits can occur under certain conditions. These short circuits must be avoided, as they damage the tool and render the manufactured part unusable.
During your internship, your work will include commissioning an NVIDIA Jetson and connecting it to the process control hardware.
They are developing an AI model that can detect an impending short-circuit situation based on measured process variables.
In addition, you will conduct laboratory tests to collect process data and test the AI model.
Last but not least, you document the work progress, the developed solution and the presentation to the specialist departments.
