Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indore for a Relationship Officer (RO)/Senior Relationship Officer (SRO) at SMHFC. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, assessing loan applications, and performing credit analyses based on SMHFC’s unique credit underwriting methodology. You will liaise with potential customers from the EWS/LIG segment, guide them through the loan disbursement process, ensure timely repayments, and support them in submitting necessary documentation. Collaboration with private builders and local state authorities to facilitate affordable housing access will also be an integral part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Client Relationship Management, Customer Service, and community engagement skills
- Ability to perform Credit Analysis, Loan Underwriting, and Documentation Assessment
- Proficiency in Financial Services Operations, Microfinance, and Housing Finance
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in local languages, Hindi, and English is an advantage
- Ability to operate in a field-focused environment and travel as required to underserved communities
- Experience in NBFC/HFC/Microfinance/FMCG/Retail sector or similar is a plus
- Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
