Job Summary
The Project Coordinator leads the planning, execution, and delivery of healthcare projects, infrastructure upgrades, and clinical system integrations—ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals, regulatory standards, and clinical workflows.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and manage healthcare projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and technical teams to define project goals, requirements, and success metrics.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, and other healthcare regulations throughout project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present project updates, documentation, and post-implementation reviews.
- Coordinate data collection to identify performance trends
- Analyze and report performance trends to assist leaders in planning, developing and evaluating performance measures to promote optimum outcomes
- Assist with developing and delivering education programs as needed.
- Serve as a resource to ensure organization-wide compliance with accreditation, state and federal regulatory agencies
- Other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field
Experience Requirements
- Minimum: No experience required.
- Preferred: Three (3) years managing projects in a healthcare environment.
License/Certification Requirements
- Minimum: None
- Preferred: PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification.·
