We're seeking a diligent Warehouse Receiver to join our team at Rivers Casino Pittsburgh. The role involves efficiently handling incoming goods, ensuring adherence to specifications, maintaining accurate documentation, and facilitating the smooth flow of materials to various departments. Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, weigh, and count incoming goods against purchase orders and specifications.
• Ensure strict adherence to product specifications during receiving processes.
• Complete all necessary receiving documentation accurately.
• Implement proper storage techniques including rotation, dating, and slotting of products.
• Fill orders and issue supplies promptly upon receipt of approved requisitions.
• Deliver materials to user departments, verifying correctness of orders and obtaining authorized signatures.
• Prepare and maintain reports and records as required.
• Respond to requests from Purchasing and user departments for returning products to vendors.
• Participate in inventories and conduct periodic cycle counts.
• Recommend improvements in warehouse practices to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Maintain clean, orderly, safe, and secure storage facilities.
• Monitor temperature logs and report irregularities.
• Conduct oneself professionally and foster open communication with all departments.
• Comply with company internal controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of receiving/warehouse experience or one year of restaurant/culinary experience.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Forklift and pallet jack operation experience preferred; must be able to obtain company-sponsored certification.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures including deep freezers.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests in English.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements.

Certifications:

• Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License.  Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

 Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting
• Regular bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching
• Frequent pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds
