Part-Time Security Officer for K-12 Hybrid Christian School: Openings 26-27: Security Cumberland Campus Schedule: M/W/Th // School-Year Schedule: M/W/Th 8 hours/day

Job Summary

The Campus Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role includes monitoring campus safety, responding to incidents, conducting regular safety drills, providing safety and security training for faculty and staff, and building positive relationships with the school community to promote a culture of care and preparedness.

  • All applicants must affirm and support our Statements of Primary Beliefs.
  • Security Officer Minimum Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain or possess armed security officer certification through the state of Tennessee
  • Pass a TBI background check
  • Preference given to an applicant with prior armed security experience
  • Possess or obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Willingness to undergo and pass biennial certification to retain state certification
  • Applicant must be able to remain on their feet for extended periods of time, walking, work in extreme cold and heat, and inclement weather, have the ability to lift 100 lbs
