About the role

The Legal Department Intern will support in-house counsel within a corporate legal department. This role offers hands-on exposure to real estate transactions, corporate governance matters, legal research, litigation, and document management. The intern will assist with drafting, organizing, and maintaining legal documents related to real estate transactions and portfolio management, general corporate governance, commercial contracts, and litigation while gaining practical experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong drafting and writing abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Open to exploring AI tools to create efficiencies in document management system
