Risk Analyst – Job Description
We are seeking an aspiring risk analyst to join our risk management practice focused on enterprise risk, and information and cyber security (ICS). This role offers an excellent opportunity for Professional to develop expertise in managing and mitigating risks, supporting projects, and ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of risk management and a strong desire to learn and grow in both enterprise risk and ICS domains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in devising policies, standards and process documents
- Help implement and monitor control processes, perform key control testing, and ensure compliance with control statements outlined in Policies and Standards
- Help ensure risks and issues are accurately rated and addressed in a timely manner
- Work with various stakeholders on projects, taking personal accountability for completing assigned tasks.
- Assist in compiling and providing insightful risk reports, including identifying relevant controls and associated risks or control gaps
- Aid in the implementation and management of key risk management programs
- Participate in partner and vendor onboarding risk reviews, under the guidance of senior team members.
- Assist with performing risk assessments on projects and new technologies
- Contribute to providing recommendations for managing identified risks
- Promote the understanding and application of enterprise risk and ICS requirements across the organization
- Support initiatives to raise awareness of enterprise risk and ICS among staff
Requirements:
- 5 years of relevant risk management experience, with specialization in at least two (2) of the following risk disciplines: enterprise, non-financial, operational or ICS
- Experience in setting up risk frameworks, policies, standards, baselines and procedures
- Keen eye on details and discipline to follow through tasks to completion
- Excellent communication skills in English (in oral and written form)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment displaying a good conceptual understanding, practical thinking and implementation skills.
