About Role
We are seeking a Risk Lead to establish and drive risk management practices across projects within the PMO. The role involves identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that may impact schedule, cost, and performance. The candidate will implement structured risk processes, analysis techniques, and reporting mechanisms. You will collaborate with project controls and leadership teams to strengthen decision-making. Strong analytical capability and facilitation skills are essential. Proficiency in risk management tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, Excel-based models) is preferred. .
Responsibilities:
- Lead project risk identification, assessment, and prioritization activities
- Develop, maintain, and monitor the Risk Register
- Prepare and manage the Risk Management Plan (RMP)
- Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis
- Conduct Monte Carlo Analysis for schedule and cost risk evaluation
- Analyze and report risk metrics (exposure, probability, impact, trends)
- Apply advanced techniques such as Risk Funnel analysis
- Define and track mitigation, contingency, and response strategies
- Integrate risk insights with schedule and cost controls
- Monitor emerging risks and changing exposures
- Facilitate risk workshops and stakeholder discussions
- Support decision-making through risk impact assessments
- Support the development of Power BI dashboards for risk reporting and visualization
- Prepare risk reports and management summaries
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in risk management tools (Primavera Risk Analysis, Active Risk Manager, Excel-based models) is preferred
- Experience using @Risk for quantitative risk analysis is an asset
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks & methodologies
- Expertise in qualitative & quantitative risk assessment
- Knowledge of schedule & cost risk integration
- Ability to perform Monte Carlo simulations & risk modeling is an asset
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with risk metrics, reporting & visualization
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication abilities
- Ability to work with cross-functional & stakeholder teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering / management / related field
- 3+ years of Risk / Project Controls experience
- Experience managing project risk frameworks
- Knowledge of international construction standards and contract frameworks is preferred.
