About the role The 401(k) team is within Benefits, one of Rippling's largest and most important product categories. As a 401(k) team member, you'll be responsible for helping our customers onboard and manage their 401(k) plans. This includes things like setting up new plans, enrolling employees, managing contributions, and ensuring compliance. You'll collaborate closely with our 401(k) providers and Benefits account managers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.Key responsibilities:- Set up new 401(k) plans for customers, including enrolling employees, configuring payroll integrations, and ensuring compliance- Manage ongoing 401(k) plan administration, including processing contributions, handling employee requests, and working with providers- Troubleshoot and resolve 401(k) related issues for customers- Continuously improve our 401(k) offering and processes to create a better experience for our customersRequirements:- 2+ years of experience in 401(k) administration or retirement plan operations- Strong understanding of ERISA regulations and 401(k) compliance requirements- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate technical topics in a straightforward way- Proficient in data management and Excel/spreadsheet manipulation- Proactive problem-solver who can juggle multiple tasks and deadlines- Bonus: Experience with payroll systems and integrations
