What does a Manufacturing Engineer do at Rinnai?
This position will provide an experienced engineer responsible for leading the technical management of the manufacturing processes assigned. The primary work will be maintaining and improving the performance of the manufacturing process. The person in this role will collaborate with a team of maintenance personnel, Production Engineers, and manufacturing personnel.
- This position is located at 500 The Lakes Parkway in Griffin, GA.
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the management of the following pillars of Total Productive Maintenance: Autonomous Maintenance, Focused Improvement, and Planned Maintenance
- Maintain improving manufacturing process and work instructions
- Support the new product development stage gate process by providing consultation on development of new products and advising on manufacturing needs during design to ensure ease of manufacturing and quality are maintained.
- Hands on leading improvements in the maintenance, troubleshooting and improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Provide technical leadership for the improvement initiatives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical preferred) or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 1-3 years manufacturing engineering/ process engineering experience OR manufacturing maintenance leadership experience
- Experience with CAD software. 3D software preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA, Lean manufacturing concepts (Six Sigma, 5S, continuous improvement)
- Familiarity with Quality Systems
SKILLS
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proven ability to effectively lead and manage in a complex, multi-faceted role
- Ability to drive results across multi-departmental areas
- Computer literacy to include but not limited to MS Office products
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude, hydraulics, pneumatics, and controls
- SolidWorks or other CAD
- Strong project management skills
