About the role
As a Tech Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the execution of technology and allied projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with stakeholder expectations. This role will drive the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions, enabling the transformation of social policies into tangible, real-world outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass, but is not limited to, the following:
Lead end-to-end project execution, covering the entire project life cycle from initiation to closure.
Develop and maintain high-quality project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables.
Manage and lead cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Designers, Developers, and Testers.
Work with identified tech partners to enable deployment of tech initiatives in line with the organisation's vision.
Oversee project scope, sequencing, resource planning, scheduling, cost estimation, and risk analysis.
Monitor project performance and proactively take corrective actions to ensure timely completion.
Ensure technical soundness of solutions, overseeing design and development processes.
Track project progress and manage resource utilization effectively.
Handle project escalations, scope changes, and risk mitigation strategies.
Continuously optimize workflows to maintain project efficiency and quality standards.
Implement and adhere to project management tools for tracking and reporting.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on strategic and business goals.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through sprint retrospectives and performance tracking.
Oversee integration of emerging technologies, such as AI and ML, into project solutions.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or product management.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
Experience working on technology solutions in the social impact sector would be preferred.
Familiarity with the education, skill development, or public policy landscape in India would be an added advantage
Professional Certification on project management like PMP, Prince II etc. would be preferred

Experience with multilingual product development for Indian languages.
Background in non-profit organizations or social impact projects.
