Employment with Ridgefield School District is conditional on:
- An approved criminal background clearance through OSPI, Washington State Patrol, and/or Federal Bureau of Investigation
- Drug/Alcohol screening
- Completion of an Employment Eligibility Verification form (USCIS Form I-9) presenting proof of identity and employment authorization status
- Completion of all district-required training within sixty (60) calendar days from hire date
Continued employment expectations include: compliance with all District policies and procedures, Code of Professional Conduct, and all applicable state and federal laws; maintaining consistent presence at assigned worksite, regular work hours, punctuality, and regular attendance; maintaining any certifications that were required upon hiring; completing annual required training in accordance with District requirements; and obtaining or maintaining a CPR and First Aid Card, if required.

Daily Schedule: 8 hours per day, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (includes a 30 minute unpaid
lunch break) - Monday - Friday
Pay: $23.30 per hour
Benefits: Position does not meet minimum hours to qualify for benefits.
Retirement: Position does not meet minimum hours to qualify for retirement.

Duties
May include but are not limited to:
● Assist with a variety of technology projects as assigned by the Technology Manager.
● Perform maintenance and cleaning on district technology equipment as directed,
with minimum supervision.
● Assist in the lifting, moving, loading, unloading, and set up of technology equipment
and supplies.
● Implement and follow established safety procedures for personal protection and
protection of district equipment and property.
● Work as a member of the technology team, completing a variety of tasks, adhering to
a strict schedule to meet established deadlines.

● Establish and maintain a protected, organized work area/environment including the
work site, vehicles, tools and equipment, and interaction with other staff to ensure
the utmost in safety.
● Notify appropriate authority immediately in event of any incident or unsafe condition
on school properties.
● Respond to any accident/unsafe condition to ensure immediate safety.
● Perform physical tasks, including repeated lifting of a minimum of 75 pounds and
standing for extended periods. May require significant physical demands in lifting,
carrying, pushing and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, bending, kneeling,
crouching and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.
● Perform related duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
● Consistent, reliable attendance and punctuality according to established work
schedule is required.
● Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as directed in a timely manner.
● Ability to communicate and carry out District/building rules, regulations and
procedures.
● Possess competent record keeping skills.

● Physical ability to be on feet for extended periods of time. Complete heavy physical
labor including frequent lifting and carrying a minimum of 75 pounds of bulky
supplies and equipment.
● Ability to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
● Present a neat and clean appearance.
● Ability to multi-task
Education / Training
● Must be 16 years of age or older. Must possess valid Driver’s License and be 18 years
of age to drive district vehicles.
