Junior QA Executive

Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Executive/Analyst to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products by performing various testing and quality assurance activities. This role involves working closely with developers and other stakeholders to identify issues and improve the overall user experience. Responsibilities Execute Test Cases: Conduct manual and automated testing under varying conditions to ensure software functionality and performance. Document and Evaluate Test Results: Record and analyze test outcomes, identifying bugs and glitches. Collaborate with Developers: Work closely with development teams to improve product quality and resolve identified issues. Assist in Software Releases: Participate in software releases and patch management processes. Create Test Plans: Contribute to the development of comprehensive test plans and cases. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, product analysts, and software engineers, to ensure product meets specified requirements. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Familiarity with Testing Methodologies: Understanding of various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, and regression testing. Basic Programming Skills: Knowledge of basic programming languages. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and organizational skills. Skills Manual and Automated Testing: Proficiency in manual testing and familiarity with automated testing tools like Selenium. Bug Tracking Tools: Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA. SQL: Basic understanding of SQL for database interactions. Communication Skills: Effective communication and teamwork skills. Certifications Certifications like ISTQB can be beneficial for career advancement.
