Role Summary
Seeking a manufacturing finance professional to manage cost accounting operations, month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and ability to present financial insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:-
Cost Accounting & Month-End Close:
- Manage month-end inventory, PPV, and cost accounting activities, including reconciliations, reclassifications, revaluations, and related journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports covering inventory, PPV, OPEX, cost variances, actual rates, and expense tracking.
- Support forecasting and budgeting processes, including SOC files, purchase forecasts, ICO pricing, revenue and expense projections, and CAPEX updates.
- Prepare and coordinate provisions, including E&O and NRV, along with scrap, rework, and disposal accounting.
- Support compliance, audit, and control activities, including USGAAP SOX reviews for inventory and revenue accounts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve ICO mismatches, support supply chain reporting, and ensure timely upload and distribution of reports.
Forecasting & Budgeting:
- Prepare quarterly, and annual manufacturing forecasts covering revenue, material costs, labor, VOH, FOH, PPV, inventory, and related plant expenses.
- Build and update forecast files comparing latest forecast versus previous forecast, budget, and prior year for FYR and YTG reporting.
- Prepare ICO purchases and PPV forecasts for plants and support external purchase forecasting based on Flat BOM and standard cost assumptions.
- Prepare bridge explanations and variance commentary for management, highlighting movement versus budget, previous forecast, and prior year.
- Analyze major planning drivers such as PPV, volume, mix, FX, freight, cash discounts, material usage, and variable expenses.
Qualifications:-
- CMA / CA or equivalent professional qualification from manufacturing industry.
- 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing finance / plant controlling, with at least 3 years focused on forecasting and budgeting.
- Strong understanding of standard costing, PPV, inventory valuation.
- Hands‑on experience preparing and presenting forecast and budget decks to plant or regional management.
- Advanced Excel / Power BI skills; experience with ERP and costing systems (e.g., Plex or similar).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence non‑finance stakeholders.
