Role Mandate:
The HR Business Partner will serve as a strategic HR advisor to business leadership, driving people strategies that enable business growth, productivity, and talent sustainability. The role will partner closely with branch banking / retail banking leadership to strengthen organizational capability, performance culture, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with business leaders to align HR strategy with business priorities and growth plans.
- Provide insights on workforce productivity, capability gaps, and organizational effectiveness.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on people-related matters.
Talent & Workforce Management
- Drive manpower planning, hiring strategy, and internal talent mobility.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure quality and timely hiring across locations.
- Support succession planning and leadership pipeline development.
Performance & Productivity
- Lead the performance management process including goal alignment, calibration, and performance interventions.
- Partner with business leaders to improve productivity and performance outcomes.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and strengthen workplace culture.
- Address employee relations issues, manage grievances, and support retention strategies.
HR Governance & Compliance
- Ensure effective implementation of HR policies and adherence to regulatory and labor law frameworks.
- Support disciplinary actions, investigations, and sensitive employee relations matters where required.
HR Analytics & Business Insights
- Monitor key HR metrics including attrition, hiring effectiveness, and workforce productivity.
- Provide data-driven insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute.
- 4–7 years of HR experience with strong exposure to HR Business Partnering.
- Experience in Banking / NBFC / Financial Services organizations preferred.
- Exposure to branch banking or sales-driven workforce environments will be advantageous.
