Summary
Assemblers at this level perform intermediate to complex assembly tasks with limited supervision. They are proficient with multiple product lines, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure production quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex mechanical/electrical assemblies with high accuracy
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Verify parts and assemblies meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and rework components when necessary
- Train and mentor Assembler I team members
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with production procedures
- Suggest process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with intermediate assembly techniques
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Competence with measuring tools, torque tools, and specialized equipment
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Solid understanding of quality control principles
