Summary of Position:The Packhouse Associate will be responsible for harvesting and packaging fresh leafy greens for Revol Greens using innovative greenhouse equipment. |
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:- Harvest and pack orders for delivery
- Working in multiple areas all related to packaging and harvesting product
- Record and document information related to everyday duties and food safety
- Prepare and track cumulative harvesting and packing totals
- Complete daily operational checklists
- Clean work areas and systems including pack-lines, harvest, and other equipment according to GFSI checklist
- Communicate and cooperate with coworkers, supervisors, and managers
- Follow quality, food safety and service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
- Participate in any required company training, including safety and food safety
- Any other jobs or activities that may occur during the harvesting and packing processes
- Assist and perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Maintain a clean workspace to minimize contamination

- Flexibility to work in a variety of areas and tasks, as necessary
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Comfortable working with automated equipment
Education and Experience:- High School Diploma or GED

Supervisory:- This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities

Work Environment:Packhouse - The temperatures in the packhouse are between 34-38° F to preserve product quality
- PPE must be worn at all times
|
Physical Requirements:- Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like.
- Occasionally remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.
- Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.

The typical hourly pay rate for this position is $19.00 per hour in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. |
