Role Description This is a full-time Revenue Manager role based in Jaipur, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home combined with on-site responsibilities. The Revenue Manager will analyze demand patterns, market trends, and historical performance data to optimize room rates, inventory allocation, and distribution strategies across channels. Day-to-day tasks include preparing revenue forecasts, monitoring pickup and pace, updating pricing and restrictions, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align commercial strategies. The role also involves reviewing financial reports, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, conducting performance reviews of promotions and packages, and generating regular reports for leadership with insights and recommendations. The Revenue Manager will participate in internal discussions and REVtalk knowledge sessions, contribute to process improvements, and support training and best-practice sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations.
- Proficiency in revenue management concepts and tools, including demand forecasting, pricing strategies, and inventory optimization.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including revenue recognition and basic financial analysis.
- Experience in hospitality or related sectors, preferably in revenue management, reservations, or commercial roles.
- Comfort with revenue and distribution systems, channel managers, and spreadsheets or BI tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with diverse teams, and adapt to changing business needs.
