We are now looking for Future property managers in our Trainee Program For several locations! Interns will be able to perform hosting tasks and take care of our client properties. As your skills grow and your internship progresses, you will delve deeper into the world of hosting, and your work tasks will also change accordingly. The year-long internship will be carried out in a fixed-term employment relationship in one of the following locations: Capital Region (Espoo, Vantaa, Helsinki, Porvoo, Järvenpää) Tampere Lappeenranta Kouvola Oulu Kuopio Seinajoki Vaasa The internship will take place between November 2025 and October 2026. The work is full-time, with an average working time of 37.5 hours per week. In the Helsinki Metropolitan Area, you can get to know the everyday life of property management at several of our offices, so please be prepared to travel within the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. In other locations, the internship will generally take place at the office in the location in question, with the exception of individual orientation and training days. Together, we aim for the interns to be employed by us after the internship. We ensure that the internship provides you with sufficient skills to complete the professional qualification in property management (IAT). What kind of work is this? The most important task of a property manager is to oversee the interests of our client companies and ensure that our clients' everyday lives run smoothly. Key areas of the property manager's role at Retta include: Proactive board cooperation – The property manager acts as an expert partner to the housing company's board of directors in matters related to the property and the company's finances. Meeting procedures and implementation of decisions – The property manager's role includes preparing, conducting, and documenting meetings. When the board or the general meeting decides on matters related to the company, the property manager ensures that these decisions are smoothly implemented in practice. Financial monitoring – We manage the finances of our client companies in a planned, long-term, and transparent manner. The property manager plays a key role in this. Contract management – Our client companies have various contracts in different directions, such as with cleaning and maintenance companies. The property manager ensures that the contracts are up-to-date, cover the necessary matters, and are also followed. If necessary, contracts are tendered and renegotiated. Repair projects and property maintenance – The property manager, together with technical experts, ensures that the maintenance and repair work of the properties is well planned and that their implementation progresses according to the plans. In addition, the property manager's workload includes a lot of other things; communication with shareholders and residents, customer meetings, administrative work on projects, and so on. During the internship, you will get to know these tasks through practical examples and take responsibility for advancing the overall progress with the support and sparring of experienced colleagues.
