We are looking for a Retention Marketing Specialist to drive customer engagement, repeat purchases, and lifecycle marketing initiatives for the brand. The ideal candidate should have experience in CRM, email/SMS/WhatsApp marketing, customer segmentation, loyalty programs, and campaign performance analysis, preferably within an e-commerce or D2C environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute retention marketing campaigns across Email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, and other CRM channels.
- Develop customer lifecycle journeys including onboarding, abandoned cart, win-back, repeat purchase, and loyalty campaigns.
- Analyze customer behavior, segmentation, and retention metrics to improve repeat purchase rates and customer lifetime value (CLTV).
- Work closely with the performance marketing and creative teams to ensure consistent brand communication.
- Manage and optimize CRM tools/platforms such as Klaviyo, WebEngage, MoEngage, Clevertap, HubSpot, or similar.
- Monitor campaign KPIs including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, retention %, and revenue contribution.
- Create personalized communication strategies based on customer cohorts and purchase behavior.
- Coordinate with the product, customer support, and e-commerce teams to improve customer experience and engagement.
- Execute A/B testing for messaging, creatives, timing, and customer journeys to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Support loyalty and referral program initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in retention marketing, CRM, or lifecycle marketing.
- Experience in D2C, e-commerce, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands preferred.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and marketing automation.
- Hands-on experience with CRM and automation platforms.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign and customer data.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and cohort analysis.
- Familiarity with Shopify and e-commerce analytics tools.
- Experience handling loyalty or subscription-based programs.
- Basic understanding of performance marketing and attribution.
